Don't Use Dog Flea Products on Cats
A May 2005 ASPCA press release warns cat owners: "Cats react very differently than dogs to some insecticides; because of this, some products that are safely used on dogs can be deadly to cats, even in small amounts." Always check the label on a flea treatment product and use it only for the type of animal it's indicated for.
