Get Your Pet's Tumors Checked
If your pet has a lump or bump on his body, have your veterinarian examine and assess it. Dogs and cats can develop tumors at any age but especially at middle age or older.
While the majority of tumors are benign, you won't know if your pet's lump is non-cancerous unless a veterinarian checks it. Even benign tumors are sometimes removed for cosmetic reasons or if they are causing pressure on other structures.
