The introduction of a new family member, particularly one that displaces the cat as the center of attention, can cause a very hostile reaction. Your cat is letting you know that she/he disapproves, and making it very clear what she disapproves of. Like a child, she needs to know you still love her also. If thats not sufficient, Feliway can be useful in offering a more settling environment for you cat.<a rel=\"\\\"nofollow\\\"\" title=\"\\\"\\\\\\\"Feliway\\\"\" target=\"\\\"\\\\\\\"_blank\\\\\\\"\\\"\" href=\"http://www.odordestroyer.com/newsblog/%5C%22http://www.odordestroyer.com/newsblog/%5C%22http://www.odordestroyer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=FLWY-NV%5C%22%5C%22\" rel="nofollow"> </a>
